Hello, Friend 🌹
Life has sped up in recent weeks. This is pretty common during the holiday season, and it can be easy to get swept up in all the yumminess and fun that this time has to offer.
Personally speaking, my brother came down to Mexico to visit me for 12 days, and it was go-go for us when he landed. Now that he’s returned to the States I have my space AND my time back to organize myself and get back on track.
(So I know I’ve been quiet on here, YouTube and TikTok, but I will be back this week!)
Something that you’ve probably heard me talk a lot about is nutrition and wellness when it comes to healing our womb ailments. I spoke about it in my recent YouTube video, 8 foods I eat for womb health.
In that video, I shared that turmeric and cinnamon are great for warming the body and for clearing out mucus and stuck energy.
According Traditional Chinese Medicine, the uterus is not an organ that is meant to be cold nor damp. And unfortunately, that is actually the state that a lot of wombs are in. A cold and wet uterus means blood stagnation and that can lead to infertility.
We want your uterus to be empty, meaning it is a clear vessel without any blockages or toxins. In order to accomplish this we need to implement new systems and structures into our lives to support our health.
It’s important that we get disciplined about incorporating womb practices into our lives. Remember, womb healing is a process of devotion and requires intentionality and attention.
So to support you with this I want to provide my favorite hot beverage that I take during my luteal phase(the phase usually 10 days before your menstrual bleed) for about 5 days as a replacement for coffee. During my luteal and menstrual phases, I abstain from coffee as it is a diuretic and would cause me a ton of abdominal cramping. I only drink coffee during my follicular and ovulatory phases.
