~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This work has put me on an otherworldly path.
As it should.
The womb is otherworldly in and of itself.
I sometimes feel like I am swimming through a poetic story of my own.
Slaying demons, reclaiming lost powers and jumping timelines.
The Goddess sings to me through my soul guiding me to gather fragmented pieces of a lost and ancient identity in order to bring me closer to Her.
To help me remember Her. And myself.
I used to say that I want to live a magical life; a mythic life. A part of me knew that there was more out there for me. More to me.
That a reality beyond the mundane, predictable, and monotonous existed.
A world that didn’t involve cubicles, gray walls and boring cooler chat.
I knew it was out there… I just didn’t know how to find it.
In 2018, I chose to leave the known world behind and dedicate my energy to becoming a seeker. A seeker of the magic, wonder, and wildly mystical.
And ever since, life has become a sacred unfolding. Moments appear not as coincidence, but as encoded messages from the divine.
Nothing can be taken at face-value in the realm of the womb. A womb-led life is anything but superficial.
I’ve found that every totem and relic I’ve discovered along the path are portals to lead me back home. To an ancient knowing and memory.
I find myself humbled by the divine orchestration of it all…to know that a power bigger than myself is guiding me.
In fact, the last two psychics I’ve seen told me this.
“You are being guided. You are very protected.”
In 2021, one psychic blurted out with a piercing intensity, “Do you know who you are?!”
She asked this question with a lot of passion, as if she was trying to shock me into awareness, and was upset with me for not knowing.
I thought I did know at the time…her question mainly made me wonder what she knew that I didn’t.
There are times in my life when I am so clearly reminded of who I am and the path that was set for me before I was born.
I had this experience recently when my friend, Zakiya, invited me to an art exhibit at the Mariane Ibrahim Gallery. She had dropped the event post in a text and said “hey, you wanna go to this with me?”
Mariane Ibrahim Gallery
No expectations, no research, just a spontaneous yes.
But when we stepped inside and read the artist’s statement, we froze—
eyes wide, breath held in awe.
It was as if the entire exhibit had been created for us, or maybe by us, in some other timeline.
Neither of us had looked into it beforehand—
and that was the magic.
We were meant to stumble into wonder, together.
To be enchanted by the perfection of the unknown. Humbled by the mystery weaving the magic of a Venusian tapestry.
This is the world I now live in: one of divine winks, ancestral whispers, sacred remembering. And I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
An excerpt from the gallery’s intro of the art exhibit:
The Paths of the Soul by Maïmouna Guerresi is conceived as a journey through works created at different stages of the artist’s practice — from 2016 to 2025 — united by a central theme: the affirmation of female spiritual strength.
The Paths of the Soul lies a profound meditation on the symbolic power of sacred feminine icons across cultures and continents. By linking the Black Madonnas of Europe — venerated figures often obscured by colonial narratives — with Mexico’s Virgin de Guadalupe, Guerresi opens a space of dialogue between African, Islamic, and Latin American spiritual traditions. Both the Black Madonna and The Guadalupe are embodiments of maternal protection, resistance and divine presence.
…in search of sacred places where Black Madonnas are venerated with the goal of returning these icons to Africa.
Maïmouna' Guerresi’s work
It was a true gift to be there on that particular night—the opening of the exhibit, no less. And because it was the unveiling, we were greeted by Maïmouna herself, radiant and welcoming like a high priestess blessing us with her presence.
Maïmouna Guerresi
Walking through the gallery moved me deeply. My heart was telling me that the truth of The Goddess will be told not just through me, but by so many women around the globe. We are not alone in this holy work. Somehow that inner-knowing strengthened me — to know that The Goddess is rising inside of the blood memory of artists, healers, space holders, mothers, teachers, energy workers, and leaders.
We are the prophetesses, oracles, and priestesses they tried to erase and exterminate.
But what they failed to understand is this:
The Goddess can never be eliminated.
She lives in our wombs.
She is the space between worlds.
She is the drumbeat beneath every heartbeat.
She is the serpent stirring in the dark caves of the pelvis, awakening life from the inside out.
Her primordial essence is the spark of all human life.
And like the siren she is, she will inevitably call her daughters home to her. For we cannot escape that which created us.
Maïmouna Guerresi’s work, portraying Sudanese women as the Black Madonna, was nothing short of a spiritual invocation. Without a single word, her art made one thing clear:
Africa is the original womb-goddess who birthed, not only the first women, but also as the origins of the Goddess and the first spiritual kingdoms on earth.
We saw through Maïmouna’s art, truth restored to its throne. To its majesty.
Maïmouna Guerresi’s Work
The original Holy Mothers were African women. They were tasked with populating the earth. They erected the first temples, carried the original light codes, and birthed the sacred systems that underpin spiritual thought today.
These African women were self-creators. The original Genetrixes who are the mitochondrial source that can be found in every single human being.
It is through the womb of these Holy Mothers that all divine wisdom, knowledge and power flows.
As Mama Zogbe writes in The Sybils,
“The Divine African Mother was also worshipped as the Holy Virgin (meaning unmarried), the Self-Created Goddess who could change her gender at will.”
She was revered as the mother of the “Black-Headed People”—those “born out of her great womb”.
These were the Sybils, the Mamaissiis—a matrilineal order of healers, seers, and scribes. They were the first consecrated priestesses, bearers of the primordial wisdom known as Isis: Divine Feminine Logos incarnate.
So Maïmouna’s exhibit was not just a gallery show.
It was a resurrection.
A truth uncovered about the pantheon of the Magdalena’s and the untold history of the sacred lineage of the Marys.
Maïmouna Guerresi’s work
Zakiya and I felt so seen in Maïmouna’s work. We felt our truth reflected back to us. Mirrored to us. What made this day even more surreal was the fact that Zakiya and I had only met 2 months ago. On the very first day, Zakiya turned to me and said, with fire in her voice,
“I was deployed to Mexico City to erect a temple to the Goddess.”
She didn’t yet know I was a womb healer!
Zakiya and I
She said this to me with a powerful spiritual conviction that could have only come from her ancestral mothers.
We are returning The Goddess to the land. She will be re-erected and venerated through our unique and creative expressions.
We are retracing Her path in our lineages—recovering what was fragmented, gathering sacred relics of the soul to make ourselves whole again.
This is my mission: to support women in reclaiming their spiritual sovereignty.
To remember that healing the womb is a holy act of soul liberation.
Because without that, we remain divided, dismembered and fragmented.
To be a woman is to be inherently spiritual.
This demands that you reclaim spiritual possession and authority of your womb. That you reintegrate the womb with your female psyche. That you gain the rituals and practices to serve and feed the Goddess within you. That you please her night and day.
How can you say you are healing your feminine energy without tending to the most feminine part of you?
How can you say you know yourself… if you have never entered the space that created you?
As Mama Zogbe reminds us:
“The path of profound and Divine Wisdom is an elusive and difficult one, and cannot be fully realized until she chooses one to enter her holy womb—and be confronted with the raw, dark, and abysmal truth of self”
“Her ‘place’ is the manifestation of the original and natural order as willed through the divine logos.”
The womb must be restored to her rightful place within the temple of your body. For the womb is the only truth. It is the space of immortality, resurrection, and reincarnation.
To honor this, I created a sacred offering:
an online course, a living breathing temple,
a map back to the holy mother within you.
This isn’t just a course—it is a rite of passage. A Heroine’s quest to return to wholeness. Your womb is the goal. It is the grail. It is the ultimate path a woman can take to self-realization and self-fulfillment.
I’ve come to join forces with women around the globe who carry the same fire in their blood.
The Lilith-hearted rebels who refuse to bow to systems of erasure.
Who rise against the architecture of control, silence, and suppression.
Who know that restoring the womb as the first spiritual authority
is the key to restoring peace on Earth.
So here it is, beloved. My invocation.
Will you say yes?
Will you walk with me to retrace the path of your soul?
Will you meet the Goddess at the gates of your own body and remember that you are Her?
The temple is now open.
The path is lit.
The call is yours to answer.
